Poem
Being a mother is a high calling
God will not give you more than you can handle
You are equipped even when you feel like you are failing
You are privileged to speak into your children’s lives
Your love, affirmation and nurturing words
Are making a difference, so don’t believe Satan’s lies
Your sacrifice may not always get a thank you
But there is a Father in Heaven looking down on His daughter saying
“Well done my love, you’ve done what I’ve called you to do”
There is no greater reward than to see fruit in your children
God is not mocked, whatever you sow moms you will reap
Have faith that you will raise up Godly men and women
There still may be diapers, lunchboxes, and checking temperatures in the middle of the night
Maybe after school sports or high school prom
You may be a grandma by now, but I encourage you to fight the good fight
The good fight of faith is what will carry you through the highs and the lows
Trust in the Lord, the battle is His
Whatever you are believing for, He already knows
Thank you, moms, we appreciate your sacrifice, your willingness to do whatever it takes to raise your children, and we speak a blessing into your life of strength, peace, comfort, contentment, and may you be filled with the joy of the Lord!
